Starting asap we are looking for an experienced designer to join this amazing boutique design agency for a six-month stint. Five days a week with two days WFH as an option.
• Take ownership of creating visual concepts for client and project identities across all channels including but not limited to; print, digital, OOH and spatial, plus develop brand standards and guidelines for approved brands.
• Display expert knowledge and skill across to generate a reliable supply of original ideas and visual concepts across all platforms including but not limited to; digital communications, websites, mobile apps, emails, marketing materials, press advertising, video, spatial design, OOH applications plus core identity work involving logos and branding.
• Display strong knowledge of typography, image manipulation, illustration and animation and a keen eye for visual details and accuracy.
• Develop cutting edge, artistic, and user-friendly creative, always seeking opportunities to do things new and differently.
• Seek to influence changes in audience behaviour through ideas, creativity and the use of media.
• Develop an understanding of creative strategies and tactics that will be appropriate and effective for our clients.
• The confidence to explain and support your thinking, both internally and externally including presenting work in an inspiring way, which is particularly important when a project is a new business pitch. This includes both Directors and clients.
• Be prepared to share rationale of why creative work has been developed and its relevance to a client’s strategy.
Based in awesome offices in Remuera, this is an opportunity that could turn into a permanent role for the right person.
Our client is looking for an all-rounder who can develop concepts with the ability to rationalise decisions as well as do artwork and updates.
They’re a small team so being precious about work is not in their DNA.
